Larry David continues to deny the world the 9th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm that it so desperately needs. According to the New York Times, David will make his Broadway debut this winter in a play he wrote called “Fish in the Dark.”
I’m sure the play will be fantastic and funny, but will anyone call him a bald asshole in it? Will he eat Jesus in cracker form because he thought it was an animal cracker monkey? It’s unknown if Curb Your Enthusiasm will be back for a 9th season, but this play business will certainly delay it if it will be.
That’s the great thing about Curb though, it’s never forced. The show is ready when it’s ready. We will wait, and we will watch Larry use a hooker so that he can use the car pool lane on the way to the Dodgers game for the 1,000th time, and we will laugh.
